I live in rural China. The Occupyists are the scum of the Earth. Every single one of them should be rounded up, branded and forced to live here for the next year. Oh, your house back home has heat? That’s very 1% of you! You didn’t used to work 14 hours a day doing manual labor, planting rice and harvesting tea? How very 1%. You don’t want to get up at 5am to feed the animals? 1%ist! You want to live where you want and do a job you choose? We’ll just put that “1%” on a button and you can wear it with all your outfits. What utter douchebags. They should be glad I’m here, because if I were there, I’d be making life uncomfortable for them.
If I were you id get back to work rob. your house has no heat but plenty of electric i see. stop moaning you bloody prawn!! 10 hours off a day, you lazy bastard!! your gonna tell me you only have to share a room with 3 people next!! you lucky git. i Live in rural india, I milk male goats for 10 million rupees a day thats 2 pence you. I could only dream of getting rice for tea, i have a stable diet of mud stew and recycled water from the ganges. oh and btw rob, what a nice traditional chinese name. love you
Rob, if you have such an issue with your current situation, why don’t you do something about it? And why are they the scum of the Earth? Is it because they got tired of being pushed down by the 1% and decided to fight back? Is it because they did that and you didn’t?
@Rob Nice English ‘Chinaman’. Mind telling me your region, and at least three roads? No google allowed. Which if you ARE in china you won’t be able to use anyways. Wait a second! You would have this blocked too!!! Lying fuck.
Essentially the situation you described is what America went through in the Late 1800′s and early 1900′s. Even though you aren’t from China, realize that once the country’s government figures out how to get its shit together, it will impose labor restrictions too. Or it will just keep being ridiculous. Depends on the leader.
Well, actually, in Rob’s defense it should be pointed out that he’s a long-time reader of this blog and occasional commenter. I’ve forgotten the exact circumstances, but he’s a western who teaches English (or something like that). So he’s not a troll. FWIW.
I live in rural England. The Occupyists are the scum of the Earth. Every single one of them should be rounded up, branded and forced to live here for the next year. Oh, you have *local* problems AS WELL as the ones that affect less-developed countries? That’s very 1% of you! You care about issues that affect you personally that also, in a very real way, affect many areas around the world? How very 1%. You forget that people in China apparently have no idea of the concept of relativity in people’s ability to perceive things and that no-one should be able to complain about anything ever if *anyone* has *anything* worse than them and therefore any problems in more developed countries should be discounted as irrelevant? 1%ist! You want to live where you want and do a job you choose? That’s utter bullshit, no-one should strive for that and if you do you’re an elitist. We’ll just put that “1%” on a button and you can wear it with all your outfits. What utter douchebags. They should be glad I’m here, because if I were there, I’d be making life uncomfortable for them. Probably by telling people how they shouldn’t care about all the inequality unless it’s in a certain part of the world
You’re operating on the false assumption that income equality is much worse in China. I couldn’t find a website that says as much in the thirty seconds I wasted researching this, so I let wolfram alpha do the work (http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=income+equality+us+vs+china) (mad props, wolfram alpha). Tldr; the numbers are nearly identical.
As I’m SURE you can attest, rural China has it rough. But it isn’t perfect here, either. So what’s your argument, exactly? Some people have it worse, so I should stop complaining? Sorry for trying to make the world a better, more fair place.
I live in rural AMERICA and yall need gone done shove that there shit right back up thems there hunormous doodoopusses fore I git right done up and go gone done does it mahself. one percent ma ass. im the one parcent and i gone done did sleeps witha loaded semiauto rifle shoved up ma butt.
I believe that people need to stop complaining about stuff they don’t have because they don’t work. I don’t follow the Occupyists crap but from what I see, that’s what people are doing. If I’m wrong, I’m sorry. I’m making $17/hr working 40 hrs a week. However, I didn’t start off here. I had to start work at Wal-Mart, 8 years ago making $6.25/hr. Before that, I’ve lived on Farms and helped with other manual labor jobs before I graduated High School. The problem with a LOT of people, is that they have this self entitlement kick that makes them “Special”. Everything I own I worked Hard for. People want money but don’t want to put in the effort. I will say that I genuinely fear the future that my daughter, who is 4 right now, has to live in. Soon, no one will be willing to work.
Oh my god, shut up grimm! I work 40 hours a week as well at 9 bucks an hour. I still can barely afford anything. Health insurance? forget about it. A lot of people work really hard and still get nowhere. That’s what occupy is about.
Shut up “Dude” life is serious. I live in rural Kazakhstan, I work 169 hrs/week at $0.23/hr and can only afford toenail clippings and sewage runoff to feed my family of 11. Rice and tea? How very 1% of you… dick. Oh but we have internet so that’s cool.
Haha come on now Rob! Stop with your messing! If you click his name it goes through to a website that I can only assume is trying to sell me an emu. If you are that hungry then eat the bleedn emu! Emu burgers are the best!
Everyone else is just getting drunk to get over being the 99%. Click my name for see how they are getting by.
Wow! A lot of hate from the liberal left. I guess all that tolerance they preach only goes one way. Maybe they’d lose some of their energy for protesting if they spent more time working a job or volunteering to help others rather than being so self-absorbed.
Unfortunately, I am really the less than 1% that has balls so large I can’t work. I can’t even bend over to tell (or train) Rob how to work ion the rice paddies. Truly unfortunate I know, but I saw the chance to kick Rob too (if I only could) and wanted to join in on the bandwagon…
Whatever someone’s situation, just get off your ass and work hard. I see the logic of both sides but I do think that the occupyists are doing more harm than good. Want to make principalities spend less taxpayer money? Stop making them pay police officers overtime for Protests that haven’t been thought out!
I will agree with lol in saying you all look stupid. furthermore I will say what needs to be said. occupy is not about being pissed off that we have nothing. but most of the people there dont have jobs not because they dont try but because they have been laid off or have illness (mental and other) the ones who do have jobs are not getting paid enough to afford a place to live. that being said they are not mad because of what they dont have they are mad because the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting abused the 1% make over 80% of the money in america and that is what the protest is about. the simple fact is wealth is being unevenly distributed and the poor work harder than anyone.
quit acting like you’re so smart and ahead of everyone. the people who actually know what’s going on hate you. you probably have deep anxiety issues and mask depression by demanding attention. hate you!
What kinda faggot wants to make the world a more ‘fair’ place. What an emotional little tool. I could care less what anyone else thinks is fair. The only thing that matters in terms of equality is freedom. People should all be equally free to earn money and invest.H
Rob thinks he has problems, I live in the 1300′s. My wife died of the black plague. I spend all day working the land and slaving just so the land owner can take all my crops. I live in a hovel. You pussies from the future need to stop bitching.
